A smaller but not small at all vehicle shop located off E. Fowler Avenue in Tampa, FL; resetting the stage in class and integrity. I'm thrown away by their new renovation giving it a homey, cigar lounge - bourbon bar feel recreates and unforgettable experience.Always a great experience. The team is great and I can always trust them to do the job right.This is the place you have been searching for all over the bay. Indy shop that does everything like phev plug in hybrid bmw. Very few places outside the dealer does the high voltage work. This place took what i had confirmed from 2 other quotes. first the dealer was terrible and more than the car is worth. Confirmed again at a local place near me that my ac was faulty but they were not able to set the coding software if they performed the work. The hybrid ac systems do not allow car to function if broken as it cools the high voltage battery system. After searching I found this shop and sent them my info. They gave the full quote price up front and I didn't get charged twice for the initial diagnosis. Overall was a very good rate. Along with that they aggreed to just do one part of the work to confirm if the other 2 parts were necessary. Performed all the work needed as soon as the parts and hardware arrived. Very smooth process and 2 year warranty with all my issues resolved at a much more affordable rate than the dealer. Our tow company mistakenly towed it to a dealer instead of Fox Motors. The dealer sent me a quote for the work that looked more like a ransom note! I immediately realized the mistake and had the car towed to Fox Motors where it should have been in the first place. The Fox team took care of the issues at a very reasonable cost. Fox doesn't overcharge for parts, which many shops absolutely do (of course their labor is also very fair for BMW service as well). What I didn't understand is that none of your professional mechanics knew that my BMW X3 had a faulty upper strut mount and that the noise my car was making was coming from there. The pleasant”receptionist told me that they would start by changing some parts and see what happened along the way. The day after the diagnosis, the check engine light came on. I returned for the appointment and told the nice” receptionist not to do anything about the check engine light. They called me hours later saying that the change hadn’t eliminated the noise ( without moving the car off the lift 😵💫) and they would try changing other parts, which would cost me thousands more. Last but not least, the vehicle technicians are A+ repairmen.The facility provides excellent customer service, maintains cleanliness, and offers detailed information about automotive services.I just had my struts replaced and they use Bilstein which is considered better than the original BMW struts in terms of performance. Bilsteins are made in Germany. I live in Davenport and no repair facility in my area that I had previous experience with have access to ,Bilstein, most likely because of distributors they use. Fox Bimmers is known for doing the job right the first time and is cheaper than dealing with the dealership. I do not like however they charge a service fee for using a credit card which is not my experience with other facilities I have dealt with including Fields BMW.Very good experience. Also, replaced the "stuck" T-stat and a malfunctioning O2 sensor which had been causing some check engine codes. Previously over the past 24 month or so, I've had the shop install new WPC rod bearings & ARP bolts, new brake rotors & pads as I plan on keeping this car for a long time. Scheduling was easy, the courtesy inspection was helpful, & work was completed on time. The shop is super clean & well organized. Since moving to the area about six months ago, we have used them for basic oil changes to replacing the random blown radiator hose or two and even replacing motor mounts. However, it is the very well documented and photographed inspection process that has brought some serious maintenance issues to light that if not addressed in a timely manner, could lead to catastrophic failure. After replacing a couple of radiator hoses and returning the car to us on Thursday afternoon (after the car was towed to another shop late on a Sunday night, only because the tow truck driver wanted $350 more to take it to Fox due to the late hour, and that shop trying to take advantage of us which led to me having the car towed to Fox on Tuesday morning), when we got home we found some fluid on our driveway that just did not look right. Ahja-Lia helped us again and with some FaceTime, we were able to share what was happening in real time. She and the team went above and beyond for us and a mechanic stopped by our house on his way home to check on the car to determine if we should drive it or not for fear of breaking down again. I was blown away but beyond thankful. When he arrived and performed a pressure test and visual inspection, he determined it was safe to drive and wanted me to bring the car back to the shop in the morning so they could look at everything once again in the shop. So,,,,I did just that. I was at the shop first thing in the morning, Ahja-Lia coordinated everything just as she said she would and I was out of there within an hour of opening. We were on i75 around Bradenton when we heard a crack and the engine started running with less power accompanied by some crackling. Immediately the car displayed a drivetrain output error. This was Thursday night just before the NYE weekend. We nursed the car to our Tampa destination and researched local BMW service shops. BMWService Group was quite well ranked so we showed up 8AM sharp on Friday morning. Being used to the large operation that Braman Miami is, we did initially wonder if this smaller service shop was right for our car. We needn't have worried. To begin with, Ahja-Lia welcomed us warmly and took down our info, including the extended warranty data. The mechanics (ex-BMW employees) entered the car into the shop, diagnosed the problem, quoted the repair and proceeded to call the extended warranty company. They got the authorization and proceeded to service the car. At that point we left and maintained contact over text. One sensor had to be overnighted and would be installed on Saturday. We got a text Saturday at 2PM saying the car was ready and that the key was in a lockbox. We picked up the car and continued our trip North a couple of days later. The 9 hour drive was a perfect litmus test on how well the car was repaired. It was PERFECT. Also, the repair has a 2 year warranty through a web of associated shops. I am therefore very pleased to Highly Recommend BMWService Group based on our experience.
